Creative Direction / Production for:
INVENTARIO / KINKIFACTORY
We wanted to liberate these objects from the real world decontextualizing the function that they have here. Getting rid of the “real world” through a kind of horizontal synthesis, elevating objects to artistic pieces for their own reason of being the idea that challenges the tradition of fine arts and design.
We believe that this society has changed very fast in the last years but the way of perceiving art is still the same as it was 50 years ago. We understand art as something that doesn’t need to be just in museums, this is the reason why we have chosen a democratic way to create and consume art.
So, in May 2017 we decided to ask the most relevant Barcelona & International design studios to participate in a collective exhibition in a chinese bar (Kuki’s).
